More Industrial Zones Coming to Queretaro

Marcelo Lopez Sanchez, Queretaro Minister of Sustainable Development, confirmed that a project is underway to install four private industrial park at the State, in addition to the expansion of two existing parks, that could generate up to 50,000 direct jobs.

Marcelo Lopez Sanchez, Queretaro Minister of Sustainable Development, confirmed that a project is underway to install four private industrial park at the State, in addition to the expansion of two existing parks, that could generate up to 50,000 direct jobs.

In an interview, Minister Lopez said that one industrial park will be built in Colon Municipality, another one in Huimilpan, another one in Queretaro and one more in the zone at San Juan del Rio and Tequisquiapan municipalities. In addition, there are plans to expand two industrial parks located at El Marques municipality.

Lopez Sanchez further said that the new industrial parks will be private areas for dry and clean industries, i.e. low water consumption and zero contaminants.
