Kenworth will increase production in Mexicali 33%

Starting on July 21, Kenworth Mexicana will start a process to increase production in their plant at Mexicali, Baja California, where 48 units are currently assembled, to reach 64 by next September, Luis Fernando Reyes, Sales Director for Mexico and Latin America, confirmed.

Adapting production volumes by Kenworth is related to an increase in the demand of vehicles in the two main markets of the Mexicali factory, namely Mexico and the United States.

Based on information shared by Kenworth, there was a 25% increase in orders in Mexico by the end of the year, while in the United States orders went up 8%.
