Italians opt for Mexico

Since economy in the Eurozone is shrinking, especially their partners Germany and Switzerland, Italians are aiming their investments to new horizons, and committing their money on increasing their presence in Mexico with new capital and larger trade this year, in sectors such as automotive, food and agriculture, energy, nanotechnology and infrastructure, among others, according to Alberico Peyron, Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico.

“We have found great support by the new administration (headed by Enrique Peña Nieto); absolute openness has prevailed at the meetings with the Minister of the Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo, to attract Italian investment, and businessmen agree on doing it under a green and socially responsible culture”, Mr. Peyron further said.
