The Chairman of Baja California Aerospace Cluster, John Riley, assured that French companies manufacturers of airplane parts remain interested on establishing at BC.

During an event organized by Tijuana’s Economic Development Council (CDT), Riley said that there are currently eight French companies installed at Tijuana, which employ 350 people and plan to invest US$150 million in 2014.

He pointed-out that French presence in Tijuana and Baja California aerospace industry is growing, and that the companies already established there have expansion plans with new investments, some of them with very ambitious projects. He informed that a French delegation – made of six companies – will visit Tijuana soon, in order to find suppliers, and get familiar with the State and the opportunities offered.

Those companies, he said, come to this border city to reinforce the sector at the region and analyze the possibility of installing production plants to manufacture airplane components.
