Flextronics will invest US$30 million

In order to support their growth plans in Jalisco, Flextronics, the electronics company, is planning to invest US$30 million in the construction of a new building this year.

In order to support their growth plans in Jalisco, Flextronics, the electronics company, is planning to invest US$30 million in the construction of a new building this year.

The new premises will provide for future manufacturing projects that the company may bring, according to Guillermo del Rio Ochoa, Head of Business Development and Customer and Government Relations with Flextronics Mexico.

The building will be located in a 2.2 hectares area at the company’s Northern Plant, across the street from Zapopan Air Base.

Mr. del Rio pointed-out that the company’s plans include 30% growth in their operations at Jalisco within the next five years.
