EDP Renovables and Industrias Peñoles announced the construction of Eolica of Coahuila, with an investment per US$300 million.
This is a wind power project that will generate about 200 megawatts of electricity, which represents enough clean energy to illuminate 300,000 homes.
It is expected to start operations by the end of 2016.
Joao Manso Neto, EDP's General Director, assured that Eolica of Coahuila will place the Entity on the world’s energetic map with a world-class project.
