This production plant will be the number 13 around the world
The Audi's plant in Mexico will be an important part of the growth strategy of the Company in North America, assured Rupert Stadler, Audi's CEO.
He pointed out that the complex in San Jose Chiapa, in Puebla is a guideline in the environmental issue, because it has the most sustainable painting workshop in the Americas.
On the other hand, according to Thomas Sigi, Officer in charge of the Audi's Personnel Department, they expect to increase their workforce to 4,200 employees this year.
This production plant, in which US$72 million were invested, will be the number 13 around the world and the successor of the Audi Q5 is going to be produced here.
