Francisco Vega mentioned that in Korea, Hyundai presented him an expansion project for US$50 million in Baja California. Also, Samsung explained the progress made on their US$100 million investment project, where they have already invested US$10 million and hired 200 people.
When he met with executives from Samjin (known in Baja California as Platech), a company supplier for the automotive and aerospace industries, he was informed about an expansion project for US$1 million, in addition to the construction of a new industrial building.
