Alberto Weisser is retiring from Bunge Limited and L. Patrick Lupo has been named Non-Executive Chairman.  Lupo has been a member of Bunge’s Board and served as Deputy Chairman and Lead Independent Director.  He has also served as Chairman and CEO of DHL Worldwide Express.

Ted McKinney is named Director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.  His career included roles at Elanco Animal Health, DowElanco and Dow AgroSciences.

Tom Lizer has joined Latham Hi-Tech Seeds as their General Manager.  His previous role was with Kruger Seeds.

Kathy Bayers is promoted to Strategic Account Executive for FMC Agricultural Solutions.  Her career has included positions at Makhteshim Agan, Chevron Chemical, Gowan and Sand Creek Turf.

Cynthia Jamison has been elected to be Chairman of the Board for Tractor Supply Company (TSC).  She had been Lead Director for TSC since 2010.  TSC’s revenues grew from $759 million in 2000 to more than $5 billion in 2013, market capitalization from $80 million to their current level of nearly $10 billion.  Their store base has also grown from 305 in 28 states to more than 1,245 in 48 states.  Jamison has held directorships at Office Depot, B&G Foods, Cellu Tissue Holdings and Horizon Organic Holding Corporation.

David Dell is the new Global Marketing and Sales Director for Brock Grain Systems.   David had been with Lebanon Seaboard, Wenger Feed and CNH.

Brett Begemann was named President and COO for Monsanto.  He will continue to lead Monsanto’s global commercial business including overseeing the commercial, manufacturing and supply chain operations in row crops, vegetables and crop protection.  This role includes managing Monsanto’s areas of growth in established markets and new markets, as well as in areas of innovation such as integrated farming systems and ag biologicals.

Monsanto also announced that Bob Wilhelm was hired for the newly created role of Global Branding Lead within their Global Marketing Team.  Bob had been with Rabo AgriFinance, AdFarm and Osborn & Barr.

Greg Gilsdorf has joined Genesus as their new General Manager of US operations.  His career has included roles at Genetiporc, Iowa Select Farms, Coastal Plains and Professional Swine Management.

Dawn Pelon has joined New Holland Agriculture and Construction as their new Marketing Communications Manager.  She joined New Holland from Mercedes-Benz and Navistar’s specialty parts division, UpTime Parts.

Stefano della Torre has been named CEO of SipcamAdvan.  Stefano succeeds Giovanni Affaba who will remain SipcamAdvan’s Chairman.  Stefano’s career includes positions at Ciba Geigy, Monsanto and most recently the Sipcam-Oxon Group.

Linda Salem was promoted from COO to President of Great Plains Manufacturing.  She succeeds Great Plain’s founder Roy Applequist who will be transitioning to serve as the Chairman of the Board.

CropLife Canada (CLC) has named Ted Menzies as their new President and CEO.  Ted takes over CLC from long standing CEO Lorne Hepworth who has retired.  Ted was an Alberta farmer, a former Member of Parliament and has held several federal positions to include Federal Minister of State for Finance and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance.

Kemin announces three promotions.  Dr. Ken Griswold was promoted to Senior Technical Services Manager of the Ruminant Team.  Marc Hoopingarner and Dr. Brian Kremer were promoted to Regional Sales Manager roles with the Monogastric Team.  Additionally, Rebecca Casey was hired by Kemin as their Product Manager for the Animal Nutrition and Health Division for North America.

Agrivida, Inc. has selected Dan Meagher as their new CEO.  Dan was President of Global Animal Nutrition Solutions for Novus International.  He had also been with MOARK, MBA Poultry and Purina Mills.
