Queretaro’s Business Chain to be Strengthened

ProMexico will strengthen the development of 70 suppliers based in Queretaro to cover demands from sectors such as aerospace, metal-mechanics, plastics injection and electric-electronics, Samuel Lara Sanchez, State Director for ProMexico, informed. Mr. Lara Sanchez said that the money currently available for Queretaro amounts to US$15,625 and even if the total amount for the year has been changing, in 2012 they provided support for over US$160,000.

Mr. Lara Sanchez said that the money currently available for Queretaro amounts to US$15,625 and even if the total amount for the year has been changing, in 2012 they provided support for over US$160,000.

He explained that ProMexico has worked with over 90 transnational companies in the last three years, holding business encounters to analyze the processes they require, and they have therefore identified there are opportunity areas in several sectors, making it necessary to provide impulse to the local chain of supply.

“The processes that have been identified as having the best possibilities are those in metal-mechanics sector: crimping, machining and molding”, he said.
