Three new projects, two in the industrial sector and one in the electric sector, fostered industrial activity in Monterrey metropolitan area in the second quarter of this year.

Silvano Solis Vazquez, Director, Interpuerto Monterrey, informed that construction of a plant by the Japanese auto parts manufacturer Hamanakodenso will start in the Park late this year.

Another plant to be established at Interpuerto is a combined cycle energy plant, according to a report by the consultants firm Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL), which would not disclose the name of the company carrying out this project.

This report also speaks about the construction of an industrial building at Prologis Park in Apodaca, though it does not specify the company behind this project.
