Mexico in on the right track to receive this year Foreign Direct Investment for US$35 billion, which is evidence of the confidence global investors have on Mexico’s great potential.

In his first State of the Union message, President Enrique Peña Nieto said that this figure also shows the confidence put on Mexico by international companies, which see Mexico as a strategic partner in their growth plans.

He reminded that in the first half of this year, Foreign Direct Investment exceeded US$23.8 billion, 2.5 times more than the figures posted in even term in 2012.

President Peña Nieto celebrated the confidence and commitment to their country by Mexican businessmen and investors, who recently announced investments for over US$27 billion to be made in Mexico.
