Projects from the automotive, aeronautics, biomedical, health, education and biotechnology sectors are among those established in the 7 innovation parks located in Guanajuato, where US$55 million have been invested in the last 6 years.

From these 7 technological parks, four are private and are located in colleges, namely Tecnologico de Monterrey, La Salle University, Iberoamericana University and Sanmiguelense University; the remaining three are public parks, two of them belong to Universidad de Guanajuato and another one to the Mexican Center for Renewable Energies, located in Salamanca.

Only three of the private parks have received resources from all three levels of government, and the rest have received support from one or another.
